The Monsters Ball

[|- Listening to Kid Cudi - I Poke Her Face (feat. Kanye West x Common) -|]

Here's the quick rundown: Back in June, Kanye West & Lady Gaga planned to tour together which was supposed to be the "hottest ticket in town." Notice I said "was." The tour wa canceled by October 1. Less than two weeks later, she found a replacement, Cleveland rookie rapper Kid Cudi.

The enigmatic Gaga and the Kid from Ohio will kick off a tour of their own beginnning the day after Thanksgiving (Nov. 26) in Montreal.

 According to Gagadaily.com:
Says Lady Gaga, "The Haus of Gaga had been designing 'The Monster Ball' for premiere in 2010 at the O2 Arena in London, but due to diligent work and preparation, 'The Monster Ball' will begin on November 27 in Montreal. 'The Monster Ball' is a multimedia artistic experience in the style of the first-ever pop electro opera."

Lady Gaga will release a re-package of her breakthrough album, The Fame, called The Fame Monster, earlier that week, on November 23. The re-package will include eight brand new songs, including the club-banging first single "Bad Romance." Continues Lady Gaga, "A message to all my little monsters: The Fame Monster will come out four days before the first live show. You have exactly 96 hours to learn all of the lyrics so you can sing along. Dress accordingly."

My take: This tour would have been epic if Kanye had stayed on, but I'm sure Cudi will be glad to take his place. With his debut album just hitting stores 4 weeks ago and a 3rd single just debuting, he's sure to see a nice bump in sales next month.
